Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been a delightful week at school, with a smooth and positive return after the half-term break. The children are happy to be back and were eager to press on with learning.

You will have seen the national news this week about the proposed reform of inclusive education.  I hope that families are reassured that the focus is on making mainstream schools more inclusive, and that the proposals would not disrupt your child’s education. For now, the proposals are open to consultation and not yet confirmed, so we will update you as the matter progresses.

Next week, you are invited to spend time with your child in their classroom  for Family Learning Week. Below is the timetable.

Please do confirm if you can come (tick the invitation sticker in the home/school diary or get in contact with the office).

This Tuesday 3rd March, the coffee morning will be at the usual time of 10-11.30am. Come to school to meet other families or to seek support or advice from our Wellbeing Team and other staff.

Finally, on Thursday we are excited to be celebrating World Book Day and look forward to a day filled with imagination and storytelling.

Have a lovely weekend.
