Dear Families,

The week began with an outstanding choir performance from 20 pupils from across the school. They went to Somers Town Sports Centre to perform alongside other Camden schools, showing remarkable resilience and enthusiasm despite the late finish after 8pm. You will not be surprised to hear that they absolutely blew the roof off with their solo performance of Lovely Day by Bill Withers, and received a standing ovation from the audience.

Lovely Day set the tone for the rest of the week of learning at Swiss, with plenty of community excursions and trips in the sunshine. We are proud to announce that just this afternoon, our pupils participated in the Camden Primary School Swimming Gala, and 3 of our pupils achieved Gold medals!

We also had a wonderful turnout for the coffee morning focusing on the curriculum content for Relationships and Sex Education, and welcomed the rich conversations on the best way to support our pupils to safely navigate the emotional, social and physical aspects of growing up.

We hope that you saw last week’s newsletter regarding the school charity. A reminder that on May 9th, a choir will be singing at a local church to raise money for the charity (see the flyer below for Fellow Singers – Pure Gold concert). It takes place at 5pm at St Saviour’s Church, Eton Road, NW3 4SU, and anyone who would like to attend is most welcome. Alternatively, donations of money or time/support are welcome – come to our upcoming Coffee Morning on 12th May if you can help or if you have any questions about school funding challenges.

Upcoming Coffee Mornings (Tuesdays at 10am):

I hope that you have a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend and look forward to seeing your children back to school on Tuesday.
