Dear Families,

We have had a lovely start to the Summer term, with pupils eager to return to school and get back into their school routines.

There is lots of great learning planned for the weeks ahead - all families should today receive a pack of important information, including a summary of targets and progress in the Spring term and the proposed targets and planning for the summer term.

Next week, for those families that have signed up, there are progress meetings with the class teacher.

This week, ten of our sixth form pupils traded the classroom for the great outdoors during an unforgettable five-day residential trip to the Stubbers Adventure Centre. For many, this was their very first time staying away from home—a huge milestone in developing confidence and independent living skills. From the water to the heights, our students threw themselves into every challenge, including kayaking, paddleboarding, team challenges, building a campfire and rock climbing.

We are incredibly proud to report that every single student successfully completed their stay. Seeing them embrace these once-in-a-lifetime experiences was a joy for everyone involved. A massive thank you to the staff who have volunteered their time to support pupils during this week away and have ensured that the trip has been a triumph for our pupils.

Finally, please see the upcoming Coffee Mornings over the next 2 weeks:

Have a lovely weekend,

Syra Sowe
Principal
