Dear Families,

We are now three weeks into the term and are delighted with how the children have settled back into routine. The teachers and leaders have greatly valued the meetings taking place to discuss your child’s learning, progress and priorities for the year ahead. Thank you to everyone who has taken part so far.

We have lots of parental engagement opportunities over the next couple of weeks and several opportunities for families to come into school, meet with staff and learn more about our provision.

National Teaching Assistants’ Day – Friday 25 September

Next Friday is National Teaching Assistants’ Day. Our TAs and support staff play an incredibly important role across the school and work with enormous commitment, care, skill and positivity every day.

We would love to celebrate them by sharing messages from our families. If you can, please take a moment to write a short message about what their support means to your child and family, or to thank a particular member of support staff. Please use www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/NationalTADay2026 to send your message. We know how much it will mean to our staff to hear directly from you.

Finally, below you will find some helpful information about our medical team, including our school nurses and visiting paediatricians. This includes contact details and information about the areas in which they may be able to offer advice and support.

We hope to see many of you at one of our upcoming events.

Yours Sincerely,
Syra Sowe
