Dear Families,

It has been an eventful week to say the least!

The extreme heat this week has been hard work for everyone – today, the classrooms have gotten very hot, and whilst pupils and staff have coped well, it has been challenging for all. Staff have done their best to plan less demanding routines and have been very creative with ice and water-based activities!

We are grateful to all of the staff, pupils and to their parents and families for their support, patience and flexibility during this challenging period. Over the weekend, we are forecast rain on Saturday, which we are all looking forward to!

In the meantime, our wonderful announcement – that we are a top ten finalist for the World’s Best School Prize for Community Collaboration - helped to buoy spirits this week. Here is a video of some of the celebrations that we enjoyed early yesterday morning. We now need your votes so that Swiss wins the Community Choice award – you can vote for us here. Please do share with all of your friends and family.

We are looking forward to the upcoming opportunities to come together and celebrate our collective achievement and our fabulous community in the coming weeks.
